I am a researcher at the Steinmann Institute, section Geodynamics and Geophysics, University of Bonn, Germany. My research covers the fields of igneous petrology, geochemistry, thermodynamics, reactive porous flow and computational modelling.

I have worked on various topics:
magma emplacement mechanisms in sedimentary basins,
magmatic differentiations processes of igneous sill complexes,
geo-modelling and thermodynamics applied to petrological processes.
Recent additional research interests cover the topics of permafrost and geothermy.
